I Want to be the Girl with the Most Cake is an interactive and performative take on the bardic tradition of storytelling. Before writing, the ancient bards—such as Homer—committed their epic poems to memory and sung them with music to an audience. Candystore will reinterpret this tradition by recalling various memories that incite poetic frictions, lapses in memory, and humorous realizations in the form of an original monologue. I Want to be the Girl with the Most Cake ravels together a haphazard and intimate story of sexual miscalculations, near-death experiences, self-discovery, and getting lost.
